Job Description : 3) MAINTENANCE MANAGER NADOR, MOROCCO for a major port development project in northern Morocco, which will make the country one of the Mediterranean's key logistics hubs. This next-generation terminal will accommodate leading international traffic flows. We are recruiting a Maintenance Manager for a position based in Nador. Job Description This position is responsible for managing all activities related to the maintenance and management of technical assets, including civil infrastructure, handling equipment, and port facilities. This is a strategic role ensuring the transfer and implementation of high-level technical and engineering skills in an automated terminal. The incumbent will actively contribute to the definition and implementation of strategies aimed at maintaining the operational viability of the terminal, optimizing performance, controlling costs, and supervising projects. Your missions will be as follows: Work closely with the HSSE department to ensure that safety policies are well established, updated, disseminated and respected. Ensure the management of all handling equipment, infrastructure and facilities located within the terminal perimeter. Structure and implement the organization of the maintenance department, including the necessary staff. Implement a preventive maintenance plan aimed at a high level of equipment reliability throughout its life cycle. Deploy an effective CMMS (computer-assisted maintenance management) platform, ensure its quality of execution and keep it up to date. Ensure the implementation of an effective quality control system in all maintenance operations. Manage technical stock, define minimum levels of strategic spare parts (based on their criticality, cost, and supply times). Define and manage a reporting platform based on KPIs (performance indicators): equipment reliability, cost efficiency, staff efficiency. Ensure smooth coordination between the maintenance and operations departments, to guarantee optimal planning of interventions and maximum equipment availability. Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve processes, methods and practices in maintenance and asset management. Supervise and develop managers and technical teams through training, mentoring, defining responsibilities and monitoring performance. The Successful Applicant Engineering degree in maritime, electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering. Additional training in management or business administration is an asset. Very good knowledge of health, safety and environment (HSE) standards and maritime regulations. Experience in launching or managing automated port projects (greenfield) desired. 7 to 10 years of experience in similar roles, ideally in the container, logistics or transport sectors. Proficiency in container terminal maintenance, port practices and automation. In-depth knowledge of port handling equipment and its management. Solid understanding of reporting mechanisms in a complex organization. Skills in budgeting, financial monitoring and budget variance analysis.
