Job Description : Head of Manufacturing Operations -Lithium Batteries (North India ) (Responsibilities' Includes Manufacturing , Supply Chain & Projects ) He would Be Responsible For End-To-End Manufacturing Operations, Plant Management, Supply Chain, Quality, & Technology-Driven Process Excellence Across the Company’s Battery Production Lines. The Role Requires A Dynamic Leader With Expertise In High-Technology Manufacturing, Energy Storage Solutions, & Large-Scale Operations Management. The incumbent Would Play A Key Role In Scaling Batteries To Meet Growing Domestic & International Demand While Ensuring Efficiency, Safety, & Sustainability. Responsibilities Manufacturing & Plant Operations · Oversee Day-To-Day Operations Of Lithium Battery Manufacturing Plants, Ensuring Safety, Efficiency, & Productivity. · Implement Best Practices In Cell Assembly, Battery Pack Production, & Testing Processes. · Drive Operational Excellence Using Lean Manufacturing, TPM, & Advanced Automation. Supply Chain & Procurement · Lead Procurement Of Raw Materials, Components (Cells, BMS, Casings), & Equipment With Focus On Cost, Quality, & Reliability. · Build Strategic Vendor Partnerships & Develop a Resilient Global/Local Supply Chain. · Optimize Logistics, Warehousing, & Material Management to Support High- Volume Production. Quality, Compliance & Safety · Ensure Strict Adherence To Quality Standards For Lithium Batteries & Allied Products. · Maintain Compliance With BIS, ISO, CE & Other Industry Certifications. · Drive Safety Culture In Handling Lithium-Ion Materials, Battery Pack Assembly & Testing Processes. Technology, Projects & Expansion · Work Closely With R&D Teams To Scale New Products Introductions From Prototype To Mass Manufacturing. · Lead Capacity Expansion Projects, Factory Modernization, & Adoption Of Industry 4.0 Practices. · Drive Automation & Digital Transformation To Enhance Efficiency & Traceability Across Operations. People & Leadership · Build & Mentor Plant, Operations, & Engineering Leadership Teams. · Foster A Culture Of Accountability, Innovation, & Continuous Improvement. · Align Workforce Skills & Training With Rapidly Evolving Battery Technologies. Qualifications & Experience · About 20+ Years Of Leadership Exp. In Manufacturing Operations; Exp. In Batteries, Energy Storage, Automotive, Or Electronics Industries Highly Preferred. · Proven Expertise In Plant Operations, Supply Chain, & Technology-Enabled Process Optimization. · Strong Understanding Of Lithium Battery Manufacturing Processes, Safety Protocols, & Quality Standards. · Engineering / Technical Degree Required; MBA Or Advanced Management Qualification Preferred. Personal Attributes · Strategic Yet Hands-On Leader With Strong Operational Skills. · Deep Passion For Sustainability, Green Technology, & Energy Innovation. · Excellent Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Skills In Complex Manufacturing Environments.
