Job Description : Procurement Manager for a leading mining and mineral processing company based in Central Africa Experience : 17+ years Education : BE / B. Tech – Any Engineering Degree + MBA Supply Chain Management / Operations • Candidate must have experience from Mining and Mineral Processing Company • Must have experience in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations • Proven expertise in streamlining procurement functions, vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and managing end-to-end store operations. Adept at leading large teams, aligning procurement strategies with business goals, and ensuring timely availability of goods with minimal inventory cost. • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Planning • Contract Negotiation & Vendor Management • Inventory & Warehouse Management • Budgeting & Cost Control • Supply Chain Optimization • Team Leadership & People Development • Compliance & Risk Management • Lead the Procurement & Stores Department, overseeing planning, purchasing, vendor relations, and stock control. • Establish and monitor KPIs for procurement and inventory functions. • Develop procurement strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. • Ensure optimal inventory levels and minimal dead stock. • Coordinate with Finance, Production, and Quality teams for alignment and transparency. • Identify reliable suppliers and maintain long-term strategic partnerships. • Enforce adherence to procurement policies and ethical standards. • Guide team training and development to enhance operational efficiency
