Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR VIETNAM A leading international manufacturing company is seeking a Finance Director to spearhead the transformation of its finance and accounting function. You will be at the forefront of establishing robust accounting & finance systems, internal controls, and ERP implementation - driving process improvements to support the company’s current and future operating demands. What you'll do: Establish comprehensive accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial consolidation processes and procedures that support both local compliance and global reporting standards. Transform and develop the finance organisation to ensure alignment with current operating size and ambitious growth plans, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Lead the setup and integration of ERP systems tailored to new financial procedures, ensuring seamless adoption across all relevant teams - and oversee their integration into daily workflows. Present clear and insightful financial reports to the Managing Director, founders, and other key stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making at every level. Manage up to 10+ dedicated team of accounting and finance professional. Direct the creation and enforcement of accounting policies, systems, and procedures that guarantee accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Develop a comprehensive financial consolidations process for all business operations to provide a holistic view of organisational performance. Ensure full compliance with tax obligations and regulatory requirements specific to Vietnam while maintaining best practices from international markets. Lead comprehensive financial planning activities including budgeting cycles, forecasting exercises, and long-term business strategy development. Monitor cash flow management and working capital needs to safeguard organisational stability during rapid expansion. Comfort working in an unstructured setting, with the ability to improve processes and capability to design solutions where none previously existed. A solution-oriented mindset, having the ability to identify multiple pathways toward achieving objectives even when faced with ambiguity. Resilience under pressure, with the ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations. Strong leadership and communication skills, especially when engaging with executive stakeholders. Good interpersonal skills help you nurture positive relationships within your team as well as across departments What you bring: A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles within manufacturing or related industries. A minimum of 4 years in a finance and accounting managerial role. Advanced in English and Vietnamese. Knowledge of Vietnamese laws and regulations to ensure local compliance. Experience in implementing ERP systems.
