Employment: Permanent About the Company A family-owned Bahraini group established in the 1950s, with diversified businesses in hospitality, construction, real estate, media, and other sectors. A seasoned and results-oriented CFO is sought to spearhead the company’s financial transformation and guide its institutionalization journey. Role Highlights Build the Group’s financial reputation, improve creditworthiness, and lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Restructure and formalize ownership, investment, and operational structures to ensure transparency, sustainability, and risk protection. Lead family constitution development, succession planning, and governance structures for long-term legacy continuity. Establish strong governance frameworks, internal controls, financial policies, risk management systems, and board-level reporting. Drive debt restructuring, distressed financing strategies, capital raising, and investor relations across GCC and regional markets. Spearhead crisis management and turnaround of underperforming units. Lead automation and ERP implementation for real-time financial reporting. Mentor and transform the finance team into a proactive, governance-driven unit. Ensure compliance with IFRS/AAOIFI, VAT, taxation, and Bahrain/KSA regulatory requirements. Manage multi-sector financial oversight (hospitality, construction, real estate, media, etc.). .... More details of the job will be shared once fit is determined. Qualifications MBA in Finance or CFA preferred. Professional certification required: CFA, CA, CPA, or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership, with proven experience in family business structuring, bank negotiations, and financial turnaround strategies. Strong strategic mindset (1–3 years ahead), governance implementation experience, and excellent relationship management with banks, institutions, regulators, and family stakeholders. Compensation Up to BHD 4,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
