MIS Head

Job Description : MIS HEAD Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred). Job Description / Responsibilities MIS & Data Management Develop and manage systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting across production, inventory, sales, finance, and HR. Ensure timely and accurate generation of MIS reports for senior management and regulatory authorities. Design dashboards and KPIs to monitor plant performance. ERP & System Administration Oversee implementation, customization, and maintenance of ERP systems. Integrate various functional areas (production, supply chain, HR, finance) into a unified system. Train users and ensure effective system utilization. IT Infrastructure & Security Manage IT hardware, software, networking, and database systems. Implement cybersecurity measures, data backup, and disaster recovery systems. Ensure high system uptime and minimal disruptions to operations. Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to enhance efficiency. Support Industry 4.0 initiatives (IoT, smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance). Recommend new technologies and digital tools to improve productivity. Team Leadership & Coordination Lead and mentor the MIS/IT team. Coordinate with plant heads, production managers, and finance teams to understand reporting needs. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users. Desired profile of the candidate 8-12 years of experience in MIS/IT management, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment. Proven track record in ERP implementation and MIS reporting. Experience in automation, data analytics, and Industry 4.0 technologies is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar). Proficiency in database management (SQL, Oracle DB, etc.) and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel). Knowledge of manufacturing processes and KPIs (production efficiency, downtime, inventory control, etc.). Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Problem-solving and ability to implement digital transformation.
