Country Manager 
15 yearsJob Description : COUNTRY MANAGER KUWAIT a fast-growing, multi-vertical distribution and FMCG business looking for a commercially astute and operationally hands-on leader. The role calls for someone who can own the P&L, scale distribution, and build private label strategies, while steering governance and transformation for sustainable long-term growth. Your Role You will be responsible for leading a full-country, setting strategy, and driving execution across wholesale, retail, modern trade, and HoReCa. This is not just about running today’s numbers — it’s about architecting the glide path for the next decade. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Growth & Planning: Develop and execute strategies to expand market share, sharpen RTM models, and identify white-space opportunities. Sales & Distribution Leadership: Lead and optimize direct distribution, strengthen relationships with top wholesalers and modern trade partners, and drive numeric and weighted distribution. Private Label Development: Build and scale private label portfolios across multiple categories, from concept to commercialization, ensuring profitability and consumer relevance. Operational Excellence: Oversee warehousing, logistics, and supply chain alignment to ensure cost efficiency, service levels, and product availability. Governance & Performance: Implement robust performance tracking, reporting, and compliance frameworks. Drive accountability across teams and functions. People & Culture: Lead and inspire large, cross-functional teams. Build succession pipelines, instill execution discipline, and foster a performance-driven culture. What You Bring 15+ years of leadership experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or distribution-led businesses, with at least 5 years in full P&L ownership. Proven ability to lead direct distribution models across wholesale, retail, and HoReCa. Track record of building or scaling private label strategies, ideally across multiple categories. Strategic thinker with operational depth — able to set vision and dive into execution when needed. Strong governance, financial acumen, and comfort presenting to boards. MBA preferred. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic a major advantage. The Fit This is not a caretaker role. We need a builder who has already navigated high-growth, multi-market businesses and knows how to align sales, distribution, and private label innovation with governance and culture.
