Maintenance Manager

Job Description : Maintenance Manager | Kampala, Uganda ???????? We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the complete maintenance operations for a large-scale manufacturing facility with over 150 machines and a fleet of 40+ vehicles. This is a leadership role suited for a technically strong, experienced professional with a passion for continuous improvement and team development. ???? Key Responsibilities: Lead breakdown and preventive maintenance for machinery, vehicles, and plant infrastructure Ensure minimal downtime and optimal machine availability Oversee spares inventory, vehicle servicing, and utility management Implement Lean Maintenance practices (TPM, 5S, Kaizen) Manage a diverse, multicultural team and external contractors Drive cost-effective sourcing, budgeting, and reporting via SAP ? Requirements: ???? Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering ???? 7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 3+ years in leadership ???? Strong technical knowledge of machines, utilities & fleet maintenance ???? Proficient in SAP or other CMMS/ERP software ???? Experience managing multicultural teams ???? Fluent in English (written & spoken) ???? Strong in preventive maintenance, budgeting, reporting & vendor management ???? Minimum age: 35 ????
