Location: Limburg, Netherlands About the Role A leading international company in the chemicals industry is looking for a Head of Treasuryto lead its global treasury function. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping the company’s treasury strategy, ensuring robust financial risk management, and securing the funding needed to support growth. Key Responsibilities Lead global cash management, including liquidity planning, cash pooling, and forecasting. Optimize the company’s capital structure and funding strategy. Manage financial risks (FX, interest rate, credit, insurance) and implement effective hedging strategies. Oversee treasury accounting, including hedge accounting under IFRS. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions. Provide high-quality insights and advice to senior leadership on treasury and risk matters. Lead and develop the treasury team, fostering a high-performance culture. What We’re Looking For 15 years of experience in treasury and corporate finance, ideally in multinational environments. Strong knowledge of cash management, funding, and financial risk management. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to set strategy and influence senior stakeholders. Experience in capital-intensive industries (chemicals, manufacturing, energy, or similar) is a plus. Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
