Job Description : Business Head (West & East Africa) — B2C Agro-Pesticide Business ???? Location: Abidjan, Ivory Coast (West & East Africa coverage) ???? Industry: Agrochemicals / Agri-inputs (B2C & Tender markets) ???? Reporting to: CEO – IB | Role: P&L & Country/Region Head ???? Salary: USD 8,000 / month Do you have the entrepreneurial mindset and regional experience to build a profitable B2C agro-pesticide business across West & East Africa? We’re looking for a seasoned leader to own P&L, drive commercialization, build distribution & tender pipelines, and lead a remote team of agronomists and sales reps. Key responsibilities • Own P&L and develop regional strategy & market entry plans. • Commercialize product registrations and lead new registrations with ROI analysis. • Build and manage distributors, retailers & remote field teams. • Drive farmer engagement, product demos, field trials and demand generation. • Lead tender / institutional business (government & institutional buyers). • Ensure regulatory compliance across target markets. • Work cross-functionally (Regulatory, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance) and report MIS/forecasts to leadership. Must-have • B.Sc / M.Sc (Agriculture) + MBA (Marketing/Sales) • 15+ years in agrochemical/agri-inputs; min. 5 years leadership experience in Africa (West/East Africa preferred) • Strong commercial, regulatory & remote-team leadership skills • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, excellent cross-cultural communication
