Import Manager

Job Description : Import Manager to be based in Ghana Salary : 36,000 - 42,000 US$ per annum tax free + Bonus + expat benefits like housing, car, and other benefits Responsibilities include: · Coordinate import shipment activities, including Pre -shipment, customs clearance, and documentation. · Monitor and analyze import data to identify compliance issues and take corrective actions. · Maintain and update the import compliance database. · Monitor and report on international trade trends and developments. · Liaise with freight forwarders and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate import processes and paperwork. · Negotiate contracts with suppliers and managing bonded warehouse operations. · Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to imports and exports. · Develop and maintain relationships with foreign governments, customs authorities, and other relevant organizations. · Prepare and submit required reports to internal and external stakeholders. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Experience: 10 – 15 years’ experience in import management. Ghana experience is a must.
