Job Description : Chief Finance Officer Job Title Reference Number: A&F002 Location: UAE (Jewellery/Gold/Diamond Industry) Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Chief Accountant with at least 15 years of experience in accounting within the Gold/Diamond industry in the UAE. The role involves managing the execution of accounting policies, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare consolidated and individual financial statements, cash, and gold flow statements for the group. Prepare monthly and yearly MIS reports for sales, profit & loss. File VAT for the group. Analyze and prepare reports for owners and sales managers to set realistic sales targets and strategic goals. Lead and manage the accounting team to accomplish shared goals. Fix and unfix gold prices. Skills & Qualifications: Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team. Ability to work under pressure and introduce innovative methodologies. Strong communication skills to report and explain financial data to management and owners. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CMA/CPA preferred). 10 years’ experience in accounting, including 4 years in a leadership role within the jewellery/Gold/Diamond industry. Other: Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting tools, and finance reporting. Experience with VAT filing and managing financial risks.
