Job Description : PRODUCT HEAD NIGERIA Product Head for Nigeria. 1.Primary Purpose a) Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy. b) Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales target while focussing on the bottom-line growth and increase the client base through geographical expansions. a. Overall responsibility of the vertical nationwide. b. Responsible for New product development & New product launch. c. Define long-term and short-term goals for the division; develop and implement strategic business plans to meet and exceed those goals. d. Identification of key accounts, building a pipeline of prospects, managing conversion of pipeline to acquire new customers. e. Develop and implement new sales initiatives / strategies for business growth and profitability. Be responsible for delivering personal revenue targets from new sales and through management of existing customers. f. Design and implementation of timely promotional activities, structured execution of the Marketing plans. g. Maintenance of pricing, schemes, terms and conditions for all customers. h. Update and report on progress against the plan on a regular basis. Circulate the forecast as per deadlines. i. Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & achieving market share. j. Keep clear visibility on the stock availability, accuracy and forecast sales to ensure optimum stocks in line with the sales targets and promotions. k. Develop the sales & distribution network and sales force across the country, Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners across Nigeria. l. Plan partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other professional activities. m. Educate principals about product portfolio, complimentary services offered, also address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner. n. Be a mentor to the sales team and nuture relationships with each associate in order to help them to achieve their goals. o. Ability to higher high performing sales people & retain talent and performers. p. Support the Branch mgr on day to day basis for Sales. Travel to min. 2 branches in a month. 3. Educational Qual. and Other Skills. Masters Level Degree in Business Studies / Mgmt/ Sales & Mktg. Exp. Required Must have a min. of 15-18yrs’ in a large Co. of which the last 5 yrs must be in a Senior Mgrl (National Sales Manager level preferred). Must have experience in both Channel Mgmt. and Account Mgmt. Business Acumen. Customer / Client focus. Leadership. Result driven. Excellent communication skills. Exp. in multi-product, multi-location, multi-currency, multi-cultural environments in an International setting is preferable. 5. Language: Must have command over written and spoken English.
