Job Description : Head of Finance Location: Lagos Role Overview Our client is an emerging player in the oil and gas servicing sector, poised for significant growth and impact across the region with operations driven by innovation, agility, and a commitment to excellence. The client is seeking a dynamic and strategic finance leader to join its executive management team. As Head of Finance, you will lead a vibrant team of five professionals and serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO. You will be responsible for driving financial performance, providing decision support, and ensuring sound financial management across the business. Key Responsibilities · Lead and develop the finance team to support business growth and operational excellence. · Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making. · Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. · Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business scenarios and investment decisions. · Manage fundraising initiatives and investor relations. · Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. · Collaborate cross-functionally to drive profitability and cost efficiency. · Provide insight and decision support to the CEO. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline · Master’s degree is an added advantage. · Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is mandatory. · Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in finance, with a blend of consulting and industry exposure. · Strong expertise in corporate finance, forecasting, data analysis, financial modelling, and fundraising. · Knowledge of financial control and the regulatory environment · Proven leadership experience and ability to inspire high-performing teams. · Willingness and availability to travel as needed. · A proactive mindset and readiness to be actively involved in day-to-day operations.
