Job Description : FC NIGERIA Large Textile Mill : Financial Controller (Textile Mill) @ Nigeria Our client is one of the largest textile Mill in West Africa. It is fully integrated from fiber to fabric with ginning, spinning, weaving, knitting finishing. Dyeing, Finishing & Printing (Fabric) , Dyeing, Finishing & Printing (Yarn) They manufacture Quality Yarn, Terry Towels, Suiting, Shirting, Printed Fabrics, Warp, Knitted Fabrics , Curtain Materials, Suiting, Shirting, Ankara Fabric (African Wax Print), Woven Mattresses, Bedsheets Materials, Mosquito Nets, Garments, Poly Cleaned Cotton for domestic & international market Location: Nigeria Qualification & Experience A minimum of an M.Com or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) / MBA / Inter CA / / Inter CMA Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in finance & accounting, with proven experience in a managerial capacity Job Profile Textile Mill / allied industry experience preferred Strong proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, & forecasting. Must be adept at using ERP systems & other financial software, as well as advanced spreadsheet applications. Leadership & Management: Strong leadership qualities to motivate & lead a finance team effectively. This includes strong communication, collaboration, & problem-solving skills. Strategic Thinking: The ability to provide data-driven insights & contribute to the company's financial strategy & long-term goals. Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of national & local tax regulations & compliance reporting is essential. Key responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare & publish accurate, timely monthly & annual financial statements. They also create reports & forecasts to help identify trends & assist senior management in decision-making. Budget Management: Coordinate & direct the preparation of budgets & financial forecasts, & report on any variances. Compliance & Internal Controls: Document & enforce accounting policies & internal controls to protect company assets & ensure all reporting is compliant with laws & regulations. Audit Management: Manage both internal & external audits & serve as the main point of contact for external auditors. Team Leadership: Supervise, manage, & mentor the accounting & finance staff. Cash Flow Management: Oversee & manage the company's cash flow, debt, & debt collection processes.
