Job Description : Sr. Manager – Maintenance Location: Central Africa Industry: Drilling / Mining Operations Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Experience: Minimum 10 Years Key Responsibilities: * Ensure minimal equipment downtime to maintain smooth and timely drilling operations. * Oversee the proper functioning of drilling machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns and delays. * Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources to ensure uninterrupted operations. * Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols during all maintenance and repair activities. * Coordinate with the workshop team to prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources efficiently. * Gain an in-depth understanding of drilling machinery, operational sites, team structure, and maintenance processes. * Build strong relationships with workshop staff, management, and key stakeholders for effective collaboration. * Conduct detailed assessments of all drilling equipment to identify maintenance needs and performance gaps. * Review and improve workshop maintenance and repair workflows for better efficiency. * Develop robust inventory management systems to ensure timely availability of spare parts and tools. * Establish monitoring mechanisms for early detection of potential equipment issues to minimize downtime.
