Job Description : AVP (HEMM) – Open Pit Mining Location: Central Africa Experience: 15+ Years Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mining Engineering We are looking for a highly experienced and visionary Associate Vice President – HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) to lead equipment operations and maintenance for large-scale Open Pit Mining Projects in Central Africa. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire HEMM fleet operations including planning, deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization. Drive initiatives to improve equipment availability, utilization, and cost efficiency. Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards. Lead and develop teams to achieve operational excellence across mine sites. Collaborate with OEMs and internal stakeholders for technology integration and continuous improvement. Key Requirements: 15+ years of experience in Open Pit Mining with deep expertise in HEMM operations and maintenance. Strong technical knowledge of mining equipment such as dumpers, excavators, dozers, drills, and shovels. Proven leadership in managing large mining fleets and multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in African or international mining operations preferred. ????
