Finance Director

Job Description : Finance Director UAE - Engineering Firm We are seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Director to join a design and engineering consultancy. This is a senior leadership position requiring deep expertise in UAE tax regulations and a proven track record in the engineering, architecture, and interiors sectors. Key Requirements Essential Qualifications & Experience: - Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) - Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with significant exposure to engineering, architecture, and/or interiors industries - Comprehensive knowledge of UAE tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements including Corporate Tax, VAT, and Excise Tax - Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role Core Responsibilities: - Lead all financial operations and strategy for the organisation - Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations and filing requirements - Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting - Manage financial reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders - Drive cost optimiastion and financial efficiency across projects - Lead and develop the finance team - Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities Key Skills: - Strategic financial planning and analysis - Strong understanding of project costing and commercial management in design and construction industries - Advanced knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and regulatory frameworks - Excellent leadership and team management capabilities - Strong communication skills with ability to present complex financial information - ERP systems proficiency (SAP, Oracle or similar) What's on offer - Competitive salary package commensurate with experience - Senior leadership role with significant organisational impact - Dynamic design and construction environment - Professional development opportunities
