Job Description : COO RETAIL ZIMBABWE seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operations Officer to oversee the strategic and operational management of their retail division. This is a pivotal leadership role aimed at driving performance, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations. Salary & Benefits: Negotiable Responsibilities: Lead and manage daily operations across all retail outlets, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and brand alignment. Develop and implement strategic plans to grow market share and improve customer engagement. Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation standards. Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence. Collaborate with senior leadership to align retail operations with broader company goals. Drive innovation in retail processes, systems, and customer experience initiatives. Conduct regular site visits to all Pro-Stores to ensure smooth operations, staff engagement and consistent standards. Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in hardware, FMCG, or consumer goods. Strong leadership and team-building capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise. Familiarity with Zimbabwean retail dynamics and customer expectations. Ability to work across diverse teams and build relationships with wholesale and retail clients. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to all Pro-Store locations across Zimbabwe.
