12 yearsJob Description : Product Head Reporting To: CEO Location: Nigeria Primary Purpose: · Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy. · Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales target while focusing on the bottom line growth and increase the client base through geographical expansions. Major Activities: · Overall responsibility of the vertical nationwide. · Responsible for New product development & New product launch. · Define long-term and short-term goals for the division; develop and implement strategic business plans to meet and exceed those goals. · Identification of key accounts, building a pipeline of prospects, managing conversion of pipeline to acquire new customers. · Develop and implement new sales initiatives / strategies for business growth and profitability. Be responsible for delivering personal revenue targets from new sales and through management of existing customers. · Design and implementation of timely promotional activities, structured execution of the Marketing plans. · Maintenance of pricing, schemes, terms and conditions for all customers. · Update and report on progress against the plan on a regular basis. Circulate the forecast as per deadlines. · Conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & achieving market share. · Keep clear visibility on the stock availability, accuracy and forecast sales to ensure optimum stocks in line with the sales targets and promotions. · Develop the sales & distribution network and sales force across the country, Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners across Nigeria. · Plan partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other professional activities. · Educate principals about product portfolio, complimentary services offered, also address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner. · Be a mentor to the sales team and nuture relationships with each associate in order to help them to achieve their goals. · Ability to higher high performing sales people & retain talent and performers. · Support the Branch Managers on day to day basis for Sales. Travel to minimum 2 branches in a month. Educational Qualifications and Other Skills Required: · Post Graduate or Masters Level Degree in Business Studies / Management / Sales & Marketing. · Business Acumen. · Customer / Client focus. · Leadership. · Result driven. · Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. · Excellent communication skills. · Excellent budgeting and finance skills. · Good analytical and decision-making skills, strategic thinking. · Highly organized. Experience Required: · Must have a minimum of 12 to 18 years in a large organization of which the last 5 years must be in a Senior Managerial level (National Sales Manager level preferred). · Must have experience in both Channel Management and Account Management. · Experience in multi-product, multi-location, multi-currency, multi-cultural environments in an International setting is preferable.
