8 yearsJob Description : Sales Manager UAE for African countries – Consumer Electronics Department: Sales & Distribution Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our consumer electronics sales operations The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the consumer electronics market in Africa, proven leadership skills, and a track record of delivering sales growth. This role will oversee sales strategy, channel development, and team management to expand market share and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the country, aligned with company goals. Manage and grow relationships with key distributors, retailers, and channel partners. Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives and key account executives. Identify new market opportunities and oversee product launches in retail and online channels. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions, and adjust strategies to remain competitive. Drive sell-in and sell-through across B2B and B2C channels, including modern trade, traditional retail, and e-commerce. Ensure effective merchandising, product visibility, and in-store activation campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing and supply chain teams to ensure sales targets and customer needs are met. Track and report on sales KPIs, forecasts, and market feedback to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with company policies and regional regulatory requirements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus). 5–8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within consumer electronics or related sectors. Strong knowledge of the consumer electronics industry in African markets. Experience working with distributors, retailers, and online sales platforms. Proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams and meet aggressive sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel extensively within the country or region. Preferred Skills and Traits: Local market knowledge and established relationships in the consumer electronics space. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
