Financial Controller

Job Description : FINANCE CONTROLLER UGANDA/ZAMBIA · Liaison with the bank for working capital requirements, term loans and for Day to Day transactions · Working Capital management, planning and structuring the bank facilities. · Handle Letters of credit ( Imports & exports) , Gurantees, Bank Reconciliation, Loan reconciliations · Focus on account receivables and account payables, Monitoring Debt Collection, reconciliation of Supplier's Accounts. · Cash forecast and preparation & managing cash flow · Variance Analysis, Product costing, Inventory Management, stock analysis, carrying cost etc. · Planning and monitoring Budgets - Opex, Labex & Capex. · Preparing & presenting various Management reports and accounts on a periodic basis. · VAT, Direct and Indirect Tax matters, tax returns, refunds etc, Should have good knowledge of Taxation · Cost analysis and cost control, overhead control, product costing, pricing/margin management · Managing and supervision of accounts, finalisation of accounts, preparation of financial statements · Liaison with the bank for working capital requirements, term loans and for Day to Day transactions · Working Capital management, planning and structuring the bank facilities. · Handle Letters of credit ( Imports & exports) , Gurantees, Bank Reconciliation, Loan reconciliations · Focus on account receivables and account payables, Monitoring Debt Collection, reconciliation of Supplier's Accounts. · Cash forecast and preparation & managing cash flow · Variance Analysis, Product costing, Inventory Management, stock analysis, carrying cost etc. · Planning and monitoring Budgets - Opex, Labex & Capex. · Preparing & presenting various Management reports and accounts on a periodic basis. · VAT, Direct and Indirect Tax matters, tax returns, refunds etc, Should have good knowledge of Taxation · Cost analysis and cost control, overhead control, product costing, pricing/margin management · Managing and supervision of accounts, finalisation of accounts, preparation of financial statements · Managing Audit and Liasioning with statutory auditors, VAT refund Audits, tax assessments · ROC matters and other statutory / legal matters · Identify key performance drivers, report on performance and suggest improvements · He will be closely working with senior executive of the company and responsible raising funds, working capital planning and statutory compliance. · Perform capital expenditure analysis, tracking of assets etc Desired Candidate Profile 5-10 years in similar role in a Manufacturing / Trading Company Chartered accountant with 4-5 yrs or Inter CA with 10+ years experience
