20 yearsJob Description : CFO NIGERIA We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team in Nigeria with one of our client. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with strong financial acumen, proven leadership capabilities, and significant experience in financial planning, risk management, and compliance. This individual will oversee the financial health of the organization and play a critical role in driving its growth and profitability through sound financial strategies and controls. Location - Lagos, Nigeria Functional Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead the companys financial planning and analysis (FP&A) Develop and implement short and long-term financial strategies Prepare accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial reports Fund & Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage fund flow and working capital requirements Design robust cash flow planning models to ensure liquidity Oversee treasury operations including Forex planning and hedging Risk Management & Internal Controls: Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems Ensure full compliance with all internal policies and statutory regulations Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and other regulatory submissions Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor the Finance and Accounts team Supervise Financial Controllers and Analysts Foster a high-performance culture within the finance department Systems & Tools: Oversee the implementation and optimization of IT systems related to finance Ensure data integrity and process efficiency Leverage technology for automation and reporting accuracy Benefits : Savings Salary monthly (paid quarterly) Local salary Naira paid per month for local expenses Accommodation & Transport Family status can be reviewed based upon on requirement Yearly leave of 30 days with two-way tickets post completion of one year.
