Job Description : Technical Manager – Factory Location: NZOIA-Kenya Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) Experience: Minimum 20 years (including 5+ years in a senior management role) Joining Date: Salary: upto 4500 usd Key Responsibilities: Oversee all technical operations of Factory 1, ensuring optimal production efficiency, quality, and cost control. Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all machinery and utilities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in process optimization, equipment reliability, and safety standards. Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth factory operations. Review and implement new technologies and automation systems to enhance productivity. Prepare and manage budgets, technical reports, and performance KPIs. Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations. Desired Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Expertise in plant operations, maintenance, and project management. Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities, and industrial processes. Proven experience in leading large teams and handling multiple stakeholders. Exposure to modern manufacturing practices such as TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma.
