Production Manager

Job Description : Production Manager – Mine* for a leading mining and mineral processing company based in *Central Africa* *Experience : 10+ years* *Education : BE / B. Tech in Mining Engineering* · *Must have experience in Mine Planning, Operations, or Management*. · *Should have hands on experience in Open pit operation of Metalliferous mines.* · Candidate will be responsible for *coordinating and implementing the open pit mining activities* to ensure that production and compliance targets are met in a safe and efficient manner. · The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and safety standards. · Ensure that all work carried out within the open pit mine is completed safely and in accordance with safe work procedures and policies at all times. · Co-ordinate mine activities to ensure they are aligned to achieve the mining plan and oversee day-to day mining operations (drilling, blasting, hauling, loading, haul road maintenance, waste dump dewatering, dewatering etc.) · Provide input and review the *short-term mining plan* so that priorities and contingencies are understood. · Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings, knowledge of truck dispatch system is desirable. · Assist the Production planner in developing plans to achieve mill feed grade and tonnes targets. · *Should be conversant with Mining software Surpac, Deswik* · Responsible for implementation of HSE standards as per the local mining code
