Job Description : GM TRANSPORTATION TANZANIA 20+ years experience Oversee operations of the trucks and ensure the routes for loading / offloading are done effectively and efficiently Co-ordinate with Workshops on timely release of trucks / plan priority list of trucks required / co-ordinate with clients for loading of the trucks Oversee / plan petty cash requirements for week with accounts. Co-ordinate with clients on their truck requirements on a daily basis, and communicate how we will manage their requirements Co-ordinate with HR manager on hiring / dismissal of drivers and ensure that disciplinary charges are signed with the drivers in a timely manner Co-ordinate with our fuel client on shortages in transport of fuel and ensure drivers are charged accordingly Manage the fuel economies of the trucks on a trip by trip basis and ensure all costs are allocated to the correct manifest / truck / driver and trip. Ensure that the fuel invoices from our suppliers are reconciled with the trip / manifests of the trucks. Report directly to the directors daily on operations and guidance required. Preferred candidate profile Candidate must have experience in operations of fuel tankers. The candidate must have experience in dealing with loading points in Dar Es Salaam for loading fuel tankers and dealing with Dar Es Salaam port and Tanzanian Revenue Authority.
