20 yearsJob Description : CFO KENYA As Chief Finance Officer, you will lead the financial strategy and operations of our healthcare-focused group in Kenya. You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, compliance, reporting, and risk management, while aligning financial initiatives with long-term business goals. This role demands a seasoned Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in healthcare finance and strategic leadership. Among Your Responsibilities, You Will Strategic Financial Leadership Drive the groups financial strategy, planning, and forecasting. Collaborate with the Group CFO and senior leadership to align financial goals with business objectives. Develop capital allocation, funding plans, and tax strategies. Identify and mitigate key financial and operational risks. Group Financial Reporting and Compliance Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory laws, tax regulations, and healthcare-specific standards. Enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting across subsidiaries. Operational Finance Oversight Manage budgeting, cost control, working capital, and cash flow across the group. Supervise internal controls and audit processes. Evaluate unit-level performance and recommend profitability improvements. Leadership and Team Management Lead and mentor the finance team. Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making. Investor and Stakeholder Relations Support investor reporting, board presentations, and stakeholder communications. Represent the organization in front of external auditors, financial institutions, and investors. What You'll Bring Qualifications & Experience Minimum 20 years of progressive financial leadership experience. Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory. Healthcare industry Experience. Proven expertise in financial strategy, capital structuring, and group-level consolidation. Experience managing multi-location, multi-entity financial operations. Age requirement: 40 years or older. Skills & Traits Strategic and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and risk management. Commercial insight and business acumen, especially within healthcare operations.
