Job Description : Plant Manager Biscuits & Noodles Manufacturing Location: Lagos, Nigeria Industry: Food Manufacturing (Biscuits & Noodles) Experience Level: Senior Management Reports To: General Manager / Operations Head The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations, optimizing production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading a large team to achieve organizational objectives in a safe, cost-effective, and sustainable manner. Key Responsibilities · Lead and manage the entire plant operations for Biscuits and Noodles manufacturing. · Develop and implement production plans to meet business targets and customer demand. · Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP, ISO, FSSC). · Optimize plant performance through continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices. · Manage budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation effectively. · Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies. · Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team across production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain. · Drive sustainability, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancement programs. · Collaborate closely with R&D, procurement, and supply chain teams to support new product launches and operational excellence. Qualifications & Experience · Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Food Technology, or Industrial Engineering. · 10–15 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Biscuit and/or Noodles production. · Proven track record in managing large-scale automated food manufacturing plants. · Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, maintenance, and process improvement. · Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Experience working in a multicultural environment (Africa experience is a strong plus).
