Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER SENEGAL 15-20 years experience Lead procurement and sourcing strategies of the assigned spend category/ categories, including negotiation, contracting and ongoing supplier management, negotiating best price points, thereby meeting specifications of quality, and timelines within the stipulated budgetary requirements. Strong Experience Required of Mining & Material Handling Procurement, Handling Mining & EPC Contractors, Vendor Development, Sourcing, Evaluation, Rating, etc. Vendor Stakeholder Management & Handholding, Project Monitoring: Mining Contractors / Capex Vendors, Contract Administration / Management including sub-contracts, Contract Formulation, Contract closure after settlement of payment, addressing all disputes and other issue (i.e. punch points, statutory compliance etc.), Dispute resolution, Arbitration & claim settlement. Reports & MIS, Audit (both internal & external) Subordinate team management, Compliance to SOPs, etc. Core Responsibilities Techno-commercial Strategy and Initiatives Purchase Requisition (PR) Review Strategic Sourcing for CapEx, OpEx, Bulk Material & Services Contract Preparation and Order Placement Procurement through Rate Contracts Post Order Management Supplier/ Vendor Identification and Onboarding, Performance Management & Engagement Responsible for framing up Contract Management for services required for plant operation, maintenance, projects & other functions including administration, logistics etc. Doing cost effective Procurement (Spares, capital equipments), project procurement and projects contract within the required time frame (Local, Imports / Global Sourcing). Commercial bid analysis and negotiation with vendors on price and commercial terms and conditions. Raising management approval note for purchase and placement of purchase order with all terms and conditions. Short term and long-term budgeting and planning. Ensure delivery of equipment’s & materials as per specification and agreed delivery date. Assessing the performance of vendors based on price, quality, payment terms, response & timely delivery. New vendor development for effective & qualitative supply chain management at low cost and service reliability. Supervising team of procurement professionals consisting of contract administrators, buyers & expeditors Key Interactions 1. Interaction with Head-Supply Chain, Head-Mines, COO & CFO 2. Suppliers, Vendors & Service providers
