OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Description : OPERATIONS MANAGER UGANDA 15+ years experience Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines. Coordinate with merchandising and sales teams to align production with customer requirements. Monitor capacity utilization, efficiency, and productivity across departments. Process & Operations Management: Streamline workflows and introduce best practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Oversee fabric sourcing, cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing operations. Ensure compliance with lean manufacturing principles and operational KPIs. Quality & Compliance: Collaborate with the quality team to ensure adherence to international quality standards. Ensure compliance with buyer audits, social audits, and statutory regulations. Implement corrective actions for quality or compliance issues. Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Oversee raw material procurement and vendor coordination. Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital without affecting production. Ensure smooth logistics for inbound and outbound shipments. Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor production supervisors, floor managers, and operational staff. Conduct regular training sessions for efficiency, quality, and safety improvements. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Cost & Budget Control: Monitor operational budgets and reduce overheads while maintaining quality. Implement cost-saving initiatives in energy, manpower, and material usage. Prepare operational reports and present performance analysis to senior management
