Job Description : SENIOR FC DUBAI A DFSA-regulated firm in the DIFC is seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Controller to lead finance, controls, and reporting. Key business lines are global trade execution and securities custody, corporate finance advisory and capital raising. Key Responsibilities: -Lead the development of financial plans, forecasts, and stress-testing models to support strategic goals. -Work closely with the CEO to align financial strategy with capital allocation, performance metrics, and investor expectations. -Oversee the preparation and timely submission of financial statements and regulatory filings in line with DFSA and DIFC requirements. -Manage daily financial operations including general ledger, payables, receivables, treasury, and reconciliations. -Ensure compliance with DFSA prudential and capital adequacy standards, including liquidity and client money reporting. -Strengthen internal control systems to protect assets and maintain data accuracy. -Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to aid management decision-making. -Deliver accurate, insightful management and board reports on financial and operational performance. -Coordinate and manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors. -Monitor balance sheet integrity, cash flow, and working capital to support business growth. -Implement and enhance financial systems and automation tools for greater efficiency. -Oversee statutory, tax, and audit obligations across the UAE and UK entities. -Manage treasury operations, ensuring effective cash management and intercompany processes. Ideal Profile: - Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in financial control or finance leadership within the financial services sector (BROKERAGE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST) - Strong knowledge of DFSA prudential reporting, IFRS, and DIFC frameworks. - Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent). - Proven experience managing financial reporting, audits, and regulatory returns in investment or brokerage firms.
