Commissioning Manager
20 yearsJob Description : Commissioning Manager UAE Responsibilities: • Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities across Oil & Gas process facilities including Flowlines, Gathering Stations, and Pipelines. • Establish commissioning strategies, schedules, and procedures in alignment with project milestones and safety protocols. • Supervise and guide a team of commissioning engineers and technicians to ensure timely and safe system handover. • Ensure system readiness by overseeing activities such as system walkdowns, punch list clearance, flushing, leak testing, and mechanical completion. • Interface with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, and HSE teams for smooth transition from construction to commissioning phases. • Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and subcontractors to ensure timely mobilization and support for specialized equipment and systems. • Ensure the preparation and verification of commissioning documentation including loop checks, test reports, calibration certificates, and functional testing protocols. • Lead troubleshooting during pre-commissioning and start-up phases, ensuring the root causes of failures are identified and rectified promptly. • Liaise effectively with client representatives and third-party agencies to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. • Maintain a high standard of safety and quality throughout the commissioning process. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • 12 - 15 years of extensive experience in commissioning within the Oil & Gas sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Proven track record in managing commissioning activities for large-scale Oil & Gas Construction Projects in the GCC or UAE. • In-depth knowledge of commissioning systems, international standards, and best practices. • Proficient in interpreting P&IDs, control philosophies, isometrics, datasheets, and vendor manuals. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams under tight schedules. # Job Location: UAE # Job Duration: Long Term (2+ Years) # Salary: As per company standard, based on experience and current/last CTC # Other Benefits: Air Tickets, food, accommodation, transportation, medicals, leave salary, and gratuity.
