Job Description : Workshop Manager Vehicle Rental Division Location: Kuwait Experience Required: 15-20 years (35 years in a workshop leadership role) Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Automobile Engineering Industry Preference: Vehicle leasing industry or automotive dealer service centers ________________________________________ About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned Workshop Manager to oversee our Passenger Vehicle Rental Division's workshop in Kuwait. This role requires a leader with strong technical skills across mechanical and electrical systems with a focus on reducing vehicle downtime, improving asset longevity, and driving workshop efficiency. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: · Manage and lead the vehicle workshop to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of leased vehicles. · Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across mechanical and electrical systems. · Monitor vehicle inflow for scheduled services and breakdown repairs. · Streamline workshop processes to reduce turnaround time and ensure fleet readiness. · Guide and mentor mechanics on complex diagnostics and repair procedures. · Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdown frequency. · Track spare parts consumption and optimize inventory usage. · Implement cost-control measures without compromising service quality. · Improve lifecycle cost and efficiency of each vehicle in the fleet. · Maintain service history, documentation, and compliance with safety protocols. ________________________________________ Candidate Profile: · Education: Degree in Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution. · Experience: · 1015 years in vehicle service and workshop management, preferably with a fleet operator or automotive dealer service center. · At least 35 years in a leadership role in the workshop. · Experience handling large fleets (1,000+ vehicles) is a plus. · Skills & Traits: · Expertise in diagnosing modern vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, ECU, etc.). · Strong leadership, team supervision, and training capabilities. · Highly organized, with a keen focus on reducing costs and improving asset performance. · Familiarity with workshop management systems and digital diagnostics. ________________________________________ What We Offer: · Competitive tax-free salary and benefits package · Accommodation and work visa in Kuwait · Role with strong growth potential in a high-volume fleet operation · Stable, professionally run organization with regional footprint
