Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD NIGERIA Key Responsibilities: Warehouse & Distribution Management: - Oversee daily operations of central and regional warehouses ensuring smooth inbound, storage, and outbound logistics. - Overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations for FMCG and Fresh Produce (F&V) DC's. - Heading the logistics division with full accountability for strategic planning and day-to-day execution - Drive warehouse layout optimization, space utilization, and throughput efficiency. Inventory & Stock Control: - Ensure accurate inventory management, stock reconciliation, and cycle counting. - Implement controls to minimize shrinkage, pilferage, and stock ageing. - Maintain optimum stock levels in line with demand and supply planning inputs. Logistics & Transportation: - Plan and manage primary and secondary distribution for timely and cost-effective deliveries. - Optimize fleet utilization, route planning, and delivery tracking. People & Team Management - Lead a team of warehouse managers, supervisors, and logistics staff across locations. - Drive training, SOP adherence, and a performance-driven culture on the shop floor. - Enforce safety standards, compliance, and statutory requirements Operational Excellence: - Identify and implement process improvements to reduce turnaround time (TAT), enhance picking/dispatch accuracy, and increase overall warehouse productivity. - Monitor KPIs - Warehouse Cost per Unit, Inventory Accuracy, etc. - Drive digitization and automation in warehouse
