Are you a finance leader ready to shape the financial foundation of a world-class LNG projects and then lead its transformation into a successful operating business? We’re seeking a Head – Finance & Accounts who will drive strategic finance leadership during the commissioning phase, and seamlessly transition to lead the financial operations once LNG production begins. ???? What We’re Looking For ? Education: ???? Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / CFA / MBA (Finance) ? Experience: ?? 18–25 years in finance leadership roles, including Project Finance & Operations Finance in Oil & Gas / LNG / Energy sectors ? Preferred Age: In your 40s ???? Key Responsibilities & Expertise: Project Phase (Current): • ???? Drive project financing, capital budgeting, and fund management for LNG infrastructure • ???? Oversee EPC financial governance, cost tracking, and contractor payment systems • ???? Ensure compliance with IFRS, FIRS, and local statutory frameworks • ????? Liaise with banks, lenders, and JV partners for capital structuring and funding efficiency Operational Phase (Post-Commissioning): • ???? Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reporting • ???? Manage end-to-end finance, accounting, taxation, and audit functions • ???? Optimize cost structures, working capital, and LNG commercial analytics • ???? Implement strong controls, ERP integration (SAP/Oracle), and risk management frameworks ???? Added Advantage: • Prior experience in LNG or large-scale energy projects during construction-to-operations transition • Proven leadership in multicultural / African environments • Strong stakeholder management across internal teams, partners, and regulators
