As a medium-sized organisation, they offer a collaborative environment where employees contribute to impactful business decisions. The specialist FMCG wholesaler produce bespoke food products and the group turnover just over £500m. Within the UK they have delivered over £100m in 2024 and look to grow in 2025, focusing on new product and regional development. Job Description Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management. Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support business growth. Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in all financial operations. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, aligning with organisational objectives. Manage cash flow, financial risks, and investment opportunities effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost optimisation initiatives. Oversee the finance team, ensuring professional development and high performance. Provide strategic insights to support key decision-making processes. Focusing on supply-chain, commercial and operational finance The Successful Applicant A successful Head of Finance should have: A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Proven experience in financial management within the FMCG industry. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools. What's on Offer The Head of Finance role comes with a base salary of £85,000-95,000 plus package.
