REGIONAL PROCUREEMNT HEAD

Job Description : REGIONAL PROCUREEMNT HEAD GHANA a leading agribusiness organization with a strong footprint across West Africa , committed to driving food security, value creation, and sustainable supply chains. They currently service global markets across the food commodity value chain and strive to deliver quality products within the African markets. Due to a high demand of production, they are actively seeking a specialized Regional Procurement Lead for Ghana & Cameroon to lead their Indirect procurement categories . Job Description Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement in Asia, while working in a standalone position, Your duties are listed below: Strategy & Sourcing: Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies for Indirect & MRO categories (Engineering, spare parts, CAPEX , utilities) Identifying opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supplier consolidation Supplier Management: Lead supplier selection, negotiation and contract management Responsible for conducting supplier performance reviews using KPI' ( Delivery , Quality, Cost and Service) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Finance, Engineering and Operation teams to align sourcing decisions while staying within budget brackets Represent procurement guidelines in CAPEX and OPEX project planning meetings The Successful Applicant Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in an Indirect Procurement position covering FMCG markets across West Africa Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration is preferred Excellent experience with at least 5 years in an Indirect Procurement role covering Ghana and Cameroon is mandatory Experience handling indirect procurement categories like MRO , Energy, CAPEX , OPEX is required Strong negotiation, and analytical skills Proficient user in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa ) and Microsoft Excel Excellent fluency in English is a must, Fluency in French is a bonus
