Job Description : Superintendent – Technical Services (Bauxite Mining) Industry: Bauxite Mining Operations Location: Guinea (West Africa) Experience: 8–12 Years Salary: USD 3500 Per Month Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech . in Mining Engineering or related field Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent – Technical Services to join our Bauxite Mining Operations in Guinea. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Surface Miner operations and strong technical knowledge of mine planning using SURPAC software. The role will be responsible for providing technical and planning support to ensure safe, productive, and cost-effective mining operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement short-term and long-term mine plans aligned with production targets. Manage Surface Miner operations, including deployment, performance monitoring, and optimization. Prepare mine design, scheduling, and pit layouts using SURPAC software. Conduct geological, geotechnical, and survey analysis for grade control and production forecasting. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and HSE departments for efficient operations. Monitor and report production performance, equipment utilization, and operational KPIs. Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Support in training and developing local mining staff and supervisors. Desired Candidate Profile: Degree / Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution. 8–12 years of experience in surface mining, preferably in bauxite or similar open-pit operations. Strong experience in Surface Miner operations and mine planning software (SURPAC). Good understanding of drilling, blasting, and grade control techniques. Excellent analytical, planning, and leadership skills. Experience working in multicultural, expatriate environments preferred.
