20 yearsJob Description : Head of Sales Location: East Africa Salary: USD 2,000 - 3,000/month Key Responsibilities: · Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. · Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure consistent performance and goal achievement. · Set sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics, monitoring results and implementing improvements as needed. · Identify key markets and customer segments for business expansion. · Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. · Create effective pricing strategies and sales incentive programs to maximize profitability. · Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for seamless go-to-market strategies and product alignment. · Monitor competitor activities and market trends, adjusting strategies proactively. · Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue tracking. · Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and training sessions. · Manage high-value deals, negotiations, and key accounts. · Evaluate and implement sales tools and CRM systems to optimize productivity. · Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Qualifications & Requirements: · Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Masters degree is an advantage. · Minimum 8 years of proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably in the African trading/distribution market. · Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and leading high-performance teams. · Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. · Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial management abilities. · Proficient in CRM tools, sales software, and Microsoft Office suite. · High emotional intelligence, result-driven mindset, and customer-centric approach.
