Job Description : Group Chief Financial Officer Group Chief Financial Officer for a leading UAE entity. The Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s financial direction and ensuring robust governance across its multi-sector portfolio. You will act as a senior adviser to the CEO, guide investment decisions, influence long-term financial priorities, and ensure the organisation remains aligned with its strategic growth agenda and centralised treasury framework. The role will oversee all aspects of financial management and reporting, including the preparation and consolidation of Group statements across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local regulatory standards. A key focus will be strengthening the finance function through enhanced reporting, automation, and digital tools that improve accuracy, transparency, and decision-making. The GCFO will lead a large, geographically dispersed finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This includes elevating the effectiveness of shared services for finance and procurement, optimising cost structures, and ensuring disciplined working capital and cash flow management. A strong commitment to risk management is essential, as the GCFO will establish and maintain rigorous internal controls, anticipate potential risks, coordinate mitigation measures, and ensure the business remains audit-ready with high standards of compliance. Beyond operational excellence, the GCFO will drive transformation initiatives, champion digital innovation, and support enterprise-wide programmes, including sustainability efforts, M&A integration, and cross-business collaboration to unlock synergies. Through strategic foresight, disciplined leadership, and a solutions-oriented mindset, the GCFO will help steer the organisation toward sustained growth and financial resilience.
