Commodity Trading Manager

Job Description : COMMODITY TRADER DUBAI A large conglomerate with diversified business interests is looking to hire a Commodity Trading Manager. Your Role: Develop and execute trading strategies for the commodities portfolio of the company. Manage and identify reliable customers in the GCC, Middle East and Africa region. Negotiate sales price and terms in the best interest of the company and look for opportunities to optimize profitability. Up to date with the market situation and market trends of the assigned commodities in different competing origins and destinations and accordingly plan to sales strategy. Manage Counter Party & Counter Party Risk by identifying the right agents. Anticipate and protect the profit margin calculated against any sudden market drop. Achieve Sales target in accordance to KPI. Work very closely with the execution team to ensure operations are going smoothly and contracts are shipped on time. Must Have: · 7-10 years previous experience in trading particularly with pulses and sesame. · Bachelors Degree in related field. · Must have well established contacts with the main producers and consumers in the Middle East Market. · Excellent analytical, communication and numeric skills. · Able to work within a team but should be also able to decide in a logical manner. · Excellent understanding of commodity trading dynamics, general commodity and marketing activities across the region. · Good commercial acumen and able to handle pressure. · Fluency in English and Arabic.
