Job Description : Business Head UAE - White Oils/Transformer Oils/Petroleum Jelly Business based in UAE is one of the fastest-growing names in Manufacturing, Distribution & International Trade of Chemicals, and Downstream Petrochemicals. They have multiple Manufacturing verticals and mainly active in the Production and Distribution of Solvents, Petrochemicals and their Downstream Products. Job Title: Business Head White Oils / Transformer Oils / Petroleum Jelly / Cosmetics Raw Materials (Manufacturing & Trading) Skills: Strategic sales acumen, technical formulation knowledge, team leadership, commercial negotiation, documentation handling. Location: UAE (with international travel as required) Role Objective: To lead and grow the vertical for white oils, transformer oils, petroleum jelly, and cosmetic raw materials, managing end-to-end P&L, sales, and technical market development. A key focus is onboarding major multinational corporations (MNCs) through rigorous product approval processes, establishing long-term supply relationships, and unlocking high-margin opportunities in both domestic and international markets. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Development & MNC Engagement - Identify, target, and aggressively pursue onboarding of major MNCs in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and personal care space. - Lead product registration, technical data submission, audit support, and approval cycles with global brands and their regional manufacturing arms. - Build a strategic funnel of Tier-1 multinational prospects with defined timelines for onboarding and commercial conversion. - Track regulatory and documentation requirements for USP/BP/IP grades, Halal, Vegan, ISO certifications, and customer-specific QA norms. Customer & Market Mapping - Maintain an exhaustive database of all relevant end-users, toll manufacturers, contract fillers, and private label players across key markets. - Identify customer gaps and build entry strategy for each potential target by aligning quality, packaging, and service expectations. - Open and develop accounts currently not in the customer portfolio through proactive field engagement and targeted sales initiatives. Sales & Technical Support Leadership - Direct the sales and technical support teams across multiple countries/regions. - Provide guidance for packaging options (bulk, drums, jars, tubes), shelf-life management, and sample customization based on client R&D. - Facilitate site trials, documentation exchange, and ensure product consistency across batches. Manufacturing & Supply Chain Coordination - Collaborate with production for process optimization of blending, homogenization, and filling lines. - Ensure consistent product specs for color, viscosity, penetration, dielectric strength (for transformer oils), and microbial control (for cosmetics). - Supervise procurement of base oils, slack/micro waxes, additives, and packaging material for just-in-time production. P&L Ownership & Commercial Management - Full ownership of revenue, gross margins, and EBITDA of the division. - Approve pricing structures per product grade (cosmetic/pharma/industrial), pack size, and geography, while maximizing conversion margin. - Monitor working capital exposure and customer credit discipline with Finance. Candidate Profile: - Education: B.Tech / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Chemistry. MBA preferred. - Experience: Minimum 10 years in the white oils, transformer oils, petroleum jelly, or cosmetic ingredients industry. - Proven track record in: - Onboarding and managing MNC customers - Driving technical product approvals - Managing export business to Africa, GCC, Europe, or Asia - Skills: Strategic sales acumen, technical formulation knowledge, team leadership, commercial negotiation, documentation handling.
