Business Head / Head of Operations

Job Description : Business Head / Head of Operations ????????????????????????????????: Beira, Mozambique ???????????????????????????????????? Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA is an advantage) ???????????????????????????????????????? 10–12 years total, with minimum 5 years in a senior business operations role ???????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? • Lead Mamastops’ operations for the country, ensuring smooth delivery of services across fuel, tolls, border crossings, and fleet tracking • Support the central team to integrate global technology solutions with local market providers (fuel, border, toll) and financial services (banks, payment wallets, etc.) • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets • Build and maintain strong relationships with fuel stations, border agencies, transport companies, regulators, associations, police, insurance, etc. • Oversee compliance with local laws, regulations, and Mamastops’ internal policies • Recruit, train, and manage the country team to ensure strong performance and aligned performance • Report regularly to regional and group management on performance, opportunities, and risks • Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and customer experience ???????????????????????????????????????????????? • Proven track record in operations or country management, ideally in logistics, transport, or supply chain • Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities • Solid understanding of the Mozambique logistics and transport environment • Results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior business operations role • Understanding of technology (APIs, data science, etc.) and experience in a tech-oriented company is preferable • Portuguese or local language is an added advantage
