Job Description : Director – Risk & Business Process Optimisation ???? Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ???? Client: One of the Largest Palm Oil producing companies in Malaysia. Are you a strategic leader with a passion for risk management, process excellence, and governance? Our client, a leading multinational conglomerate with a strong footprint across Southeast Asia and Africa — is seeking a Director, Risk & Business Process Optimisation to join their senior leadership team in Kuala Lumpur. About the Role: This is a high-impact leadership opportunity reporting directly to the Managing Director & COO. You’ll be responsible for driving the Internal Audit, Risk & Process Optimisation agenda across multiple business units and regions — ensuring robust controls, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities ? Lead and manage the Internal Audit & Risk team across audits and business functions. ? Develop and execute the annual audit plan and enterprise risk framework. ? Review internal controls and deliver actionable, value-adding insights to management. ? Mentor and develop a team of audit professionals. ? Partner with leadership to enhance governance and process efficiency. ? Conduct special projects and continuous improvement initiatives across regions. ? Travel up to 40% across Southeast Asia and Africa. Ideal Profile: ???? 12–15 years’ experience in Internal Audit or Risk Management, preferably with Big 4 or large multinational in FMCG/Food & Beverages domain exposure. ???? Minimum 3 years in a managerial capacity leading audit or risk teams. ???? Experience in Trading and/or Manufacturing industries. ???? Professional certification: CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA / CMA / CISA / CFE / MBA (completed or pursuing). ???? Six Sigma (Green/Yellow Belt) preferred. ???? Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. ???? Familiarity with SAP and strong command of MS Office. ????
