Job Description : General Manager DUKAN Location - Zambia Industry - Fashion Retail We are looking for a dynamic and highly experienced General Manager – Zambia & Nigeria to oversee and drive the full retail operations across both markets. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading teams, optimizing sales performance, managing full P&L, and shaping strategies that fuel sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep retail expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Include: ?? Developing and executing retail strategies aligned with business objectives ?? Managing annual budgets, forecasts, and full P&L for both countries ?? Driving sales, KPIs, profitability targets, and operational efficiencies ?? Leading and developing high-performing retail teams ?? Ensuring adherence to SOPs, brand standards, and customer service excellence ?? Overseeing inventory management, supply chain logistics, and warehouse operations ?? Conducting market & competitor analysis to inform buying, planning and marketing decisions ?? Leading CRM, loyalty, marketing initiatives, and business expansion strategies ?? Ensuring regulatory, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met Qualifications: ???? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field ???? 18–20 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in Africa ???? Proven track record in delivering sales growth & P&L performance ????? Strong communication skills; English required (French/Portuguese a plus) ???? High integrity, strategic mindset, and excellent leadership capability
