20 yearsJob Description : Chief of Staff Location: Nigeria, UAE, United Kingdom Department: Corporate Development Executive Office Remuneration: Attractive A global renewable energy company is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to support the Chairman & CEO in driving the organisation’s growth, expansion, and long-term strategic objectives across multiple regions. This role is central to the achievement of the company’s transformational agenda and its ambition to expand energy infrastructure across Africa and other key markets. Role Overview: The Chief of Staff will manage the Chairman’s Executive Office and serve as a strategic partner, ensuring seamless execution of corporate priorities. You will coordinate high-level projects, manage key internal and external stakeholders, and provide oversight across operations, investments, corporate assurance, project delivery, human resources, risk, and business performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership & Alignment • Oversee the daily operations and task management of the Chairman’s Office. • Coordinate assignments delegated by the Chairman to directorate leaders, advisors, consultants, customers, government agencies, and other stakeholders. • Ensure alignment across all directorates, departments, business units, and subsidiaries with the organisation’s culture, strategy, and long-term vision. • Support the ongoing formulation and execution of the company’s long-term strategic roadmap. 2. Business Leadership • Provide leadership across business units, investment initiatives, and new ventures. • Manage enterprises to maximise profitability, sustainability, and long-term value creation. 3. Time, Task & Target Management (“3Ts”) • Optimise the Chairman’s time and ensure efficient prioritisation of daily and strategic tasks. • Track all major projects and provide timely progress updates to enable informed decision-making. • Drive high performance and strict adherence to deadlines across the organisation. 4. Corporate Assurance & Business Oversight • Provide close monitoring of organisational performance across financial, technical, commercial, operational, and compliance metrics. • Conduct market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and identify new technologies, products, and innovations. • Support the Chairman in corporate governance, risk oversight, and strategic decision-making. Ideal Candidate Profile: • Proven experience as Chief of Staff, Senior Advisor, Leader, or similar executive-level role. • Strong market intelligence orientation and data-driven approach. • High-level stakeholder management and regulatory navigation skills. • Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). • Entrepreneurial mindset and a strong commitment to driving organisational transformation.
