Required : 20+ years Job Description : * Candidate must have experience from non-ferrous metals like copper / cobalt * Must have experience in open cast mining / open pit mining only * We are seeking an experienced VP Mining to direct and guide mining activities in our company's portfolio. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in international mining operations, a strong background in mine development, and a proven track record of achieving targets and deadlines while ensuring safe and economically viable mining practices. * Proven experience in mining operations and management * Strong knowledge of mining regulations, codes, and standards * Lead mining operations and projects from development to delivery * Ensure safe and economically viable mining practices * Develop and implement mine plans and strategies * Manage and maintain excellent operations and standards * Direct and guide mining teams * Assist in developing plans for progress and growth * Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness * Contribute to training and development of the team * Advise on mid to long-term mine planning and optimization of operations * Lead feasibility studies and assess site viability * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and community standards
