20 yearsJob Description : CIGARETTE SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER SIERRA LEONE Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly volume and revenue targets. Expand distribution coverage and ensure product availability across retail outlets, wholesalers, and distributors. Conduct market visits to monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, retail visibility, and customer feedback. Manage and motivate distributors, sales representatives, and field promoters. Negotiate with retailers and distributors to secure shelf space, visibility, and promotional placements. Track sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Marketing Responsibilities Assist in planning and implementing marketing strategies within legal and regulatory limits for tobacco products. Conduct consumer and market research to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities. Develop brand visibility initiatives such as point-of-sale materials, trade marketing programs, and retailer engagement plans. Support promotional activities targeted at trade partners while ensuring compliance with tobacco advertising laws. Coordinate product launches, packaging updates, and brand communication strategies in collaboration with the marketing team. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. 10-15 years of experience in FMCG sales; tobacco industry & African experience preferred. Strong understanding of trade marketing, distribution management, and retail dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze market data and generate actionable insights. Willingness to travel extensively and work in field-driven environments
