Job Description : SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER UAE Key Responsibilities · Implement demand planning systems to drive forecastaccuracy ensuring that OOSs at all depots and onsite aremanaged · Drive effective and efficient planningthroughout the supply chain to maintain minimum stock levels in allstores · Ensure that efficient transport DIFOTand performance ratios to all customers are maintained to buildreliable contracts and relationships · Effectivemanagement of all storage spaces while maintaining agreed finishedgoods minimum stock levels, and planning the on time delivery ofdistribution in a safe manner, with best practice FIFO · Build an effective team through innovative training anddevelopment with clear SMART performance targets and measuresensuring the progression of all individuals · Prepare, maintain, & control all budgets toensure that expenditure is in line with the business plan Build aneffective team through best practice interview,assessmen · Line management and oversight ofoperational, transactional and support functions for a high volumeLogistics & Distribution network, ensuring the achievementof safety, quality, financial (cost & productivity) andperformance objectives for the MEA Network · Lead the local team that manages carriers and thirdparties including selection, qualification and performanceevaluation · Coordinate supply plans withInternational Demand Planners and work closely with theheadquarters of supply chain operations to develop inventory levelsfor all starting materials and finished goods · Monitor and react to regional KPIs, metrics and reportsto ensure the performance of the regional fulfilmentoperation · Drive change management critical tothe successful implementation of the fulfilment network andinventory optimization strategy and conduct on-going revaluationand strategy for network structure · Support allbusiness with solutions which enhance their respective businessstrategies and support growth · Ensuring thatthe principals of LEAN and Continuous Improvement are embedded atall levels of the organization · Developstrategies and resolve problems and escalations concerningtransportation, logistics systems, imports, exports and customerissues · Leadership to evaluate and review thebusiness practices of Logistics Operations to streamline andeliminate non-value added activities as well as plan and implementimprovements to internal or external logistics systems andprocesses · Ownership for inbound or outboundlogistics operations for the region including domestic andinternational transportation and returns processing · Provide input to the Global Supply Management team forrate negotiations and services · Workcollaboratively with Trade Compliance organizations to monitorproduct import and export processes to ensure compliance withregulatory and legal requirements · Oversightfor inventory planning activity for optimizing inventory for allproducts, Optimize service levels for the enterprise · Lead efforts from a Fulfilment perspective to implementregional solutions to optimize operations, returns processing andvalue recovery activities across multiple product lines &businesses TheSuccessful Applicant- For the role ofSenior Supply Chain, the ideal candidate must have thefollowing: · At least 12+years’ experience of operating at a senior managementlevel within a Multinational FMCG organization · Must be a Certified Lean Six Sigma professional, or anyrelated international Supply Chain practices and systems · Experience of managing directly and leading 3PL Logistic& Distribution department/ business. · Knowledge of project management techniques and tools,experience in project management capacity · Knowledge of SAP, maintenance systems and ISOstandard · Experience in managing change anddelivering significant saving · Demonstrate atrack record of managing a team based across multiplecountrieS · Proven experience in peoplemanagement and strategic planning
