Job Description : SALES HEASD EAST AFRICA Head of Sales Location: East Africa Salary: USD 2,000 - 3,000/month Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure consistent performance and goal achievement. Set sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics, monitoring results and implementing improvements as needed. Identify key markets and customer segments for business expansion. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Create effective pricing strategies and sales incentive programs to maximize profitability. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams for seamless go-to-market strategies and product alignment. Monitor competitor activities and market trends, adjusting strategies proactively. Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue tracking. Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and training sessions. Manage high-value deals, negotiations, and key accounts. Evaluate and implement sales tools and CRM systems to optimize productivity. Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Masters degree is an advantage. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably in the African trading/distribution market. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and leading high-performance teams. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial management abilities. Proficient in CRM tools, sales software, and Microsoft Office suite. High emotional intelligence, result-driven mindset, and customer-centric approach.
